Make of it as you will, but supposedly it is because of MCAS (Mast Cell Activation Syndrome) and a tear she had between the stomach and esophagus that caused her to have such a sudden weight loss.
Again, take that for what it is, but she was in the hospital for 6 weeks, so I dont know whether its related.
Just putting it out there.

I did find it odd that her live in bff the English wardrobe girl Gabi also went from a once veluptuous girl to one that was almost as skinny as Kate. Not saying Kate didn't have medical issues but why would Gabi have similar weight issues.

Believe she has some kind of illness that has made it difficult to keep weight on, but I'm not certain what.
She posted a video the other week about her mum passing and that she just doesn’t have much of an appetite:

Yeah I saw that too. I thought prior to that there was something about working with her doctors to figure out what was happening, but maybe that was about her mother too. Either way, understandable. She wasn't exactly carrying a heavy frame before that, so it wasn't going to take much to tip the scales.

She was already like this before her mum and stepdad and cat died. She was in hospital herself. I don't know what for, but she posted a pic on instagram at the time where she was hooked up to tubes and all.
