Meet Sharon den Adel, born on the 12th of July ’74 in Waddinxveen, Netherlands! This Dutch diva is a singer, songwriter, and the lead vocal powerhouse behind symphonic metal band, Within Temptation. She started the band with her partner Robert Westerholt back in ’96.

Sharon’s voice is the bomb, man! It’s got power, it’s got versatility, and it’s been the defining element of Within Temptation’s sound. Her emotive performances have shaped the band’s unique vibe and helped them dominate the symphonic metal scene.
