“STARDOM: Pro Wrestling Diana, which is Kyoko Inoue’s company, made a public statement regarding fans shooting photos of the women wrestlers and posting them on social media that focused on private parts. Stardom then followed with a similar statement. The hope is to get what the promotions see as a bad social media trend under control”
Also says that a lot of the women promotions in Japan do post photo shoots of the women in bikinis.
It's the same as the difference between posting selfies on Snapchat vs someone following you down the street and taking a bunch of pictures of you without your consent.
