The video plays fine from YouTube, but the video I downloaded that I added underneath is the one that turns black or freezes after they hit the water

Gotcha.
the .MP4 plays fine as well except for a bit of a freeze at the end. Mine does not go black, the video freezes around 0:33 on the 0:39 clip.
I see them hit the water and then get up. right when the camera "pans" over to the left a little is when the clip freezes for me.

also I switched to my PC and tried Opera as well with the same results.
