Max File Size

I already can't message people on here, and you require me to upload to gain access to that feature. And now I can't upload a lot of things because the file size limit seems to be small and I don't know what it is and it requires me to compress stuff if I want to upload it, and I'm not jumping through hoops just to post one photo at a time or whatever the case may be, so if anyone can at least let me know the max upload size, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

seems pictures are limited to 2mb per pic at least any i post if bigger wont load--not sure on video
