I'm leaning towards real because why wear that if you need to spend twice the cost on prostestics? Not like biographical art doesn't take liberties.

Then again, the underboob does look oddly thick...

It's Hollywood. They can get around a no-nudity clause by using a prosthetic. It's cheaper than paying the actress the amount she'd accept to really do it probably. I'm sure you can imagine the producers going "But you're not really topless and exposed, it's just rubber. Would you be cool with wearing it?" . Case in point, the movie The Change-Up. They gave Leslie Mann a CGI body and CG'd Oliva wilde nipple.

Not op but she is playing punk icon Jordan from the Sex Pistol’s biopic. You can literally look up the original shoot where Jordan wore this jacket and see the prosthetics. It’s quite infamous.

It seems you are correct. Finding info on that specific fit is in fact not easy. But the scene in question is from when Jordan and the Sex Pistols were photographed at Vivienne’s shop Sex in 1976. There is a recreation of the shop in the background, and you can definitely find other photos from the shoot online where she is wearing identical makeup to what Maisie is wearing.
