The movie is based on the true story of an american ex-beauty queen who basically kidnapped a mormon missonary and apparently kept him as a sex slave... Yes, this is a thing that really happened.

Nobody seems to know what happened to the film though: It was announced in 2022, filming was set to begin in 2023 and then everything around the film went dead silent. It is quite possible it never actually happened.
