Help for contributing without having content!

Hi guys, I’m very happy to contribute to the forum - been a long term user but I literally have no content to contribute. I want to be able to message fellow users. But appreciate you need to ‘earn’ that right first which I get.

How else can you earn that right so to speak, do you get points for just commenting useful things etc?
