Technically Starlord doesn’t have a Galaxy, he’s a guardian of many galaxies, he’s half human half Spartax, his father King J’son (Also known as Ego) wasn’t from the same Galaxy as Earth

Also, Drax would have spotted his spying, he’s a god like warrior with lighting reflexes and awareness, Mantis could have been a suggestion but she’s actually his half sister, which would have been weird in a Jeremy Kyle sort of way. Gamora doesn’t seem the shy type so I don’t think she would have been bothered if Peter Quill (Starlord) did want to spy on her, probably would have put on a show with toys and oil

Groot doesn’t shower, and let’s face it, Rocket is pretty messed up, experimented on from a Pup, no one wanna see that body
