When I lived in Connecticut it was about 2 hrs from NYC. Fairly affluent, bucolic, beautiful area. There were 6-7 towns ranging from 1,500 people to 3,500 people in that area. The towns were 10-15 miles from each other. The High School was a Regional High School. There were a number of fancy Prep Schools in the area. There are a lot of fancy Prep Schools in Connecticut and Massachusetts. Anyway. There were a significant number of people from NYC who had homes around there. Some of them lived there. Some had week-end homes. Actors. Directors. Artists. Models. Photographers. Musicians. Etc. I thought many of those people were “odd” people. They might be successful. Whatever.
