Meet Shohreh Aghdashloo, the Emmy Award-winning actress who’s been in loads of films and TV shows, like House of Sand and Fog from 2003. She’s the voice of the Dragon in the movie Damsel, and she’s been acting since she was 18, with her first film role being in Gozāresh.
She’s also voiced Admiral Shala’Raan vas Tonbay in the video games Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3. With over 80 acting credits, she’s been busy throughout her career. She tied the knot with Houshang Touzie in 1987 and has a daughter named Tara. She acted alongside Ben Kingsley in the drama film House of Sand and Fog, which was based on a novel by Andre Dubus III.
