Mikaela was born in Colbert, Washington, as the oldest of four children. She is partly of Spanish-Italian-Persian descent. After the school, she was accepted for the theater program at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree.
Hoover has been an actress since 2006. She mainly took on guest roles in series such as “How I Met Your Mother,” “Anger Management” or “Two and a Half Men.” In 2008, she played a role in the “Sorority Forever” series as Madison Westerbrook.
In 2014 she played a small role in James Gunn’s superhero movie “Guardians of the Galaxy.” After “Super – Shut Up, Crime!” from 2010 this was the second collaboration with the director. In 2016, she played again in the James Gunn film “The Belko Experiment.”
