Liis Lemsalu (born October 20, 1992) is an Estonian singer from Pärnu. She rose to fame as the winner of “Eesti otsib superstaari”, the Estonian version of the Idol.
After winning, Liis went on tour with other participants and released a single “Kõnnime seda teed” together with Artjom Savitski. She was then signed to Universal Music Group. She has featured in Eesti Laul, Estonia’s selection for the Eurovision Song Contest four times, missing out on the final twice and qualifying twice. Her best entry, Made Up My Mind, came 5th out of 10 in 2012.
She has released successful songs, of which many have over 100K views on YouTube. Her most popular single on the site “Sinu Ees” (In Front Of You) had 3.1M views as of 2021, is significantly higher than the population of Estonia.
