Jade Chynoweth is a 20-year-old American dancer and actress known as Artemisia from “300: Rise of an Empire” (2014) and Carmen from “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” (2016). Jade was born and raised in Utah. She started dancing when she was two years old, in the dance studio of her aunt, where her mother taught jazz dance.

At nine years old, she decided that she would dedicate her life to the dance. She studied dance at Dance Tech Studios, taking lessons in jazz dance, hip hop, and ballet. Participated in dance competitions every weekend while she took lessons in the studio every day. Also traveled regularly to Los Angeles for auditions. The great opportunity came when she got a place as a dancer in The Pulse on tour 2010/11 Elite Protégés, an international conference dedicated to dance. In 2010-2011, Jade achieved fame as a dancer and became a cast member in Monsters of Hip-Hop Show Shadows. Then she joined the dance company immaBEAST.

She gained full success on Instagram (2.1m followers) and YouTube. Many of her videos have over a million views. In 2017, she takes part in the cast of “Step Up: High Water,” which is available in streaming on Youtube Red, alongside Naya Rivera, Ne-Yo.
