I worked for about twenty years at the State Hospital. {The “funny farm”……….the real thing} I was a Social Worker. I’d go to court every Wednesday morning and argue the “case” of our Treatment Team trying to get people who were on 5 day “Blue Papers” committed for 2 weeks, 1 month, 2 months, etc. {up to 4 mos. each time} in order to get them “stabilized” and “back on their meds” and maybe a “community provider” or a “place to live” or whatever. I’d sit at a table and argue with two Court Appointed Psychologists {who’d met 1-1 with the “patient” and gone through their charts, etc} and BELIEVE me it was not that easy to get people committed. You’d be amazed. I could tell you some stories………………I also did a lot of work around Guardianships {trying to get people who couldn’t take care of themselves some help} and Conservtorships and Payee’s {people to help them with their money} and so forth and so on. THIS IS WHAT I DID for 20 years……………..All I can tell you is this from my own lengthy experience. Britney Spears has been under a pretty comprehensive Conservatorship for something like 11 years? {Something like that.} Believe me. The court’s would rather NOT have people under guardianship or conservatorship. Believe me. I had to argue with them about it on a regular basis. SO. If Britney Spears has been under a court appointed almost full conservatorship for 11 years she must be pretty “loopy” at times. I don’t know what she does but she must show some pretty bad judgement at times and do some things that are pretty alarming. These “Free Britney” people don’t know what they are talking about…………….It is not that easy to get a comprehensive Conservatorship. You don’t get that just because someone left their clothes in the dryer too long.
