Meet Amanda Peet, the movie actress who’s been in TV’s Jack and Jill and The Whole Nine Yards. She nabbed a Blockbuster Entertainment Award for Favorite Supporting Actress for her performance in The Whole Nine Yards. Her film roles include A Lot like Love and Something’s Gotta Give. Since 2017, she’s been starring in the IFC comedy Brockmire.

She studied history at Columbia University and made her film debut in 1995 with Animal Room. She’s now an advocate for childhood vaccination.

She married David Benioff in 2006 and they’ve had three kids: a daughter named Frances (born in 2007), a second daughter named Molly (born in 2010), and a son named Henry (born in 2014).

She’s best friends with Sarah Paulson, who’s known for her work on American Horror Story.
