“Les Nuits Fauves” was a stunning piece of cinema, a man’s stuggle with his HIV+ status and his own behavior and mortality. Romane Bohringer won for most promising newcomer, and the film won 4 awards at the French Film awards.
Sadly, the film’s writer/director and lead actor, Cyril Collard died of AIDS three days before the ceremony.
A great film and really worth a watch.
