Mariana Ochoa, born on February 19, 1979, in Mexico City, is a Mexican singer, actress, TV host, and former member of the pop group OV7 (formerly La Onda Vaselina), active from 1989 to 2003 and reuniting in 2010. With OV7 she sold over 5 million records and toured extensively. After the group’s breakup, she launched a solo music career with albums Yo Soy (2004) and Luna Llena (2007), topping Mexican charts. Transitioning into acting, her lead role came in the telenovela La Hija del Jardinero (2003–2004), followed by main roles in Top Models (2005) and Amor sin Condiciones (2006). She later appeared in series like Se Busca un Hombre (2007) and returned to music and TV hosting, including Venga la Alegría. Ochoa is a mother of two, active in Pride events, and continues performing solo shows across Mexico.
