Nicki Minaj finally dropped a music video for her new song “Megatron.” The video for the sexually-charged song opens with Minaj in a low-cut multi-colored dress, The first verses have several references to high fashion, with one lyric: “He got Margiela’s on/and I get my jealous on,” referring to Maison Margiela shoes. She also refers to Donatella Versace and Fendi in the song, while she’s seen in a very skimpy bikini as a muscular man starts kissing her. The chorus – “Feel up baby feel on me/pull up if you’re feeling lonely/feel up baby feel on me/pull up if you’re feeling lonely” – plays as her companion gets close in a hot tub and a sauna.
The video ends with Minaj dousing a lime green Lamborghini with gasoline and then setting it on fire. The colorful and seductive video was directed by Mike Ho, who directed her video for Hard White back in 2018.
