As a kid, she was all about sports – football, basketball, tennis, gymnastics, baseball, you name it. She even had a black belt in karate by the time she was 16.
After some small roles and a stint on a Canadian kids’ show, Laura landed the lead in “Instant Star”, which ran for four years.
