   Joakim was a very good basketball player. Played for the Bulls where he starred and then for the Knicks where injuries and partying held him back. He played briefly in a comeback for Memphis and did a good job but he had a lot of chronic injuries by then. He was a fun player to watch though. Joyful playing the game. Intense. Fan favorite. He and Lais Ribeiro have been together 4-5 years now. I thought they were going to get married. Don’t know if they have. Joakim’s father is Yannick Noah the great French tennis player.
