Introducing Jacqueline Fernandez. She’s a Miss Sri Lanka Universe 2006 who made her mark as a Bollywood star with standout roles in Aladin, Murder 2, and Race 2. She nabbed the IIFA Award for Star Debut of the Year and also scored the Stardust Award for Best Exciting Face.
After making waves at the Miss Universe contest in 2006, she landed a role in the Bollywood flick Aladin, where she played a character inspired by Disney’s Princess Jasmine.
On top of her Bollywood hustle, she hosted a Sri Lankan TV business program and wrote a weekly column for the country’s Daily Mirror newspaper.
Born in Colombo, Sri Lanka, she jetted off to Bahrain with her fam when she was just three. She dated Hassan bin Rashid Al Khalifa, a Bahraini prince, from 2008 until they called it quits in 2011. Then she linked up with director Sajid Khan, but things fizzled out in 2013.
While Lea Salonga voiced Princess Jasmine in the Disney flick Aladdin, Fernandez brought the character to life in the live-action version of Aladin in 2009.
