Most often it's a request from the discredited Girls Do Porn - a franchise
which is banned on many porn websites.
He's also aware that GDP didn't assign names - only episode numbers - for performers, and he's acknowledges this by asking for the girl's "truth name" (as he calls it!).
A bit creepy, yet he continues to do it.
There's even suggestion that some of the girls were underage, as child pornography is one of the counts on the chargesheet.
