I don't know if mad is the correct term, she knew damn-well she was falsely accusing a man of assault. By all accounts, she attempted to pull a similar stunt when doing theatre work, but as she was making her claims one of the cleaners spoke-up and once Roxanne knew there had been someone else in the room she went quiet.
