1) Direct through browser (Play the video, then right-click and chose "Save Video as".
2) Browser Extension such as "Video DowndloadHelper" (Click "Video DownloadHelper" icon to get sidebar, click play on video and then click "Download" button on sidebar.
3) Download Manager (Free) such as JDownloader2 (Used to be able to copy URL, but now you need to right click on website select "View Page Source" - select everything (CTRL+A) and copy then in JD2's LinkGrabber tab click on all file types (other than Video) and press delete key, then click "Start all Downloads" button
4) Download Manager (Paid) such as InternetDownloadManager (IDM) - play the video and click on the Widget and click on the detected video stream and download.

and I'm sure many other methods

Thanks - didn't realise that the right click method would work on a laptop. I was trying on an iPad earlier!

Annoyingly, it still didn't work. Might only work on a PC (I'm on a Mac and it initially looked like it would download, but didn't). I haven't installed download extensions, so I might resort to screen recording when I get some time.
