cant dm/pm others

hope every1 had a great christmas, i was just wondering if dms/pms are disabled for all users or does one have to request permission.

my reaction score is solid and the ratio between likes and posts is pretty good

It's probably because you haven't posted enough yet.
I don't know what the number of posts is, before the Mods see fit to allow you to DM.
So just keep posting, and they will turn-on your DM function in due time.
