I have encountered this too. Some browsers do infact block screenshots on certain sites.
It's a combination of the website settings alongside the security protocol of the browser you're using.
They don't block it persay but all you'll get is a black screen, same applies to screen recording - looks like it's working but will infact just be a black screen with sound on playback.

I can see the creators who choose to apply this new DRM feature to their content losing a lot of subscribers because the videos and the quality of them are unwatchable in most cases or take various Loading attempts for them to play without freezing.. well, this has been the case for me. Add to that now I can't download or record them means I've just stopped purchasing content from them now. If my favourite on Onlyfans applies this I'll be pissed off but as of yet they haven't.

There are plenty of tools you can use that still work. I haven't found a video yet that Firefox isn't able to save. The network option when you right click and go into "Inspect" sometimes works. Debut Replay Capture is very good and also Replay Capture Suite from Applian works very well.
An app on Edge called Video Download Pro (Free) works every time for me on OnlyFans, YouTube and many more.
