She was a current model not former.
Unfortunately for some jobs this will always be an issue.
Teachers, health care workers, child minders, and politicians will always face this stigma and it's only natural.
Some people don't want to see the carnal pursuits of people that make decisions about their children for instance.
If you choose to be an actor, or bodybuilder, or dirty comic, for instance it will always effect how others look at you going forward.
Sex work is the same.
