I also noticed there's no quality adjustment option for the videos and they look worse than they did before.

They are using WebRTC which is why no HLS stream exists and the video is worse.

If you record the webrtc element using javascript and the browsers mediarecorder, you'll find the streams are still 720p but WebRTC will almost always look worse.

The main improvement is that the girls can talk to the viewers with almost zero delay, if you can actually connect to the site (which many can't). Most places avoid using it because it is a horrible method for more than 5 viewers. If they were smart, they'd make pervcam be WebRTC and leave the usual streams as HLS.
