I’m disappointed.
I’ve always thought this film should be more well known, primarily because Emily Blunt is hot as fuck in it. Another worthwhile male oriented film that guys slept on.
Would Emily Blunt simulate a blowjob in a film that is neither an outrageous comedy or a deadly serious drama today like she did back in “Arthur Newman”? Probably not. Yet this film is better than more than a few of others of her’s, because it’s a fucking interesting film. Hell, “Gideon’s Daughter”, which is basically about her father (Bill Nighy) being chastely in love with her and which has been vastly overshadowed in popularity by Nighy’s other film with her, is better than most of her filmography for the same reason. Neither are “Sicario” or “Edge of Tomorrow” but jesus, Blunt got US famous for her silly role in “The Devil Wears Prada.” WTF? And that’s even though she won a Golden Globe for “Gideon’s Daughter.” Yet that film was also male oriented and, again, idiot cavemen slept on it.
