Check it – meet Michelle Yeoh, the Malaysian action star who kicked butt in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. She joined the Marvel universe in 2021’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings as Ying Nan. People Magazine named her one of the top 50 Most Beautiful People in the World in 1997. She even snagged an Oscar for Best Actress for her role in Everything Everywhere All at Once in 2023.
At 21, she took the crown in the Miss Malaysia beauty pageant and repped her country in the 1983 Miss World competition. In 2010, she starred in Reign of Assassins and James Bond: Tomorrow Never Dies.
She was hitched to Dickson Poon from 1988 to 1992 before gettin’ with Jean Todt in 2004. They finally tied the knot in July 2023 after a 19-year engagement. Oh, and she shared the screen with Pierce Brosnan in Tomorrow Never Dies.
