Cypriot representative at Eurovision, Greek singer of Albanian origin, Eleni Foureira (31) should have been met at home as the winner! She did everything possible to win. Despite this, the music competition Eurovision 2018 won Israeli singer Netta Barzilai, who performed in Lissabon with the song ‘Toy’. Eleni Foureira missed out on the Eurovision victory, finishing in 2nd position with her entry ‘Fuego’.
Eleni started singing early in three years and became a professional at 18. She was a member of ‘Mystique’ group, after which Eleni began her solo career. In February 2010, Foureira participated in the Greek national selection for the Eurovision but took only 2nd place. The singer also participated in contests in 2016 and 2017.
