Maria Belén Rodríguez Cozzani was born in Buenos Aires in the family of Gustavo Rodríguez and Veronica Cozzani, the daughter of Italian immigrants from La Spezia, Liguria. She has a younger brother, Jeremiah, and a sister, Cecilia, who also works in Italy as an actress, model, and dancer. In 2003, Belén graduated from The Lyceum for the Arts and Humanities in Buenos Aires, and then entered the University of Buenos Aires.
