Bel Powley (22) went all out in the film with one of the most daring and controversial roles of her career — playing Minnie Goetze. The movie is set in 1970s San Francisco, where Minnie kicks off an affair with Monroe, her mom’s 35-year-old boyfriend. This plotline is loaded with explicit scenes where Bel Powley, going full nude, masterfully captures the inner struggles of her character.

From the neck down she is very beautiful, but from the neck up she looks like Thulsa Doom in Conan The Barbarian.

Would love to see a more thorough adaptation of the novel, but this film managed to largely keep the non-moralistic tone of the novel and deserves credit for that. Also I like Bel Prowley.
