Cardi B gets it Up as she kisses 2020 goodbye in extremely sexy new music video.

Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar has dropped her latest music video for her new single Up, the follow-up to the record-breaking smash collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion, WAP.

The video kicks off with Cardi twerking in a graveyard over a crypt marked R.I.P. 2020 in full, chandelier crystal-encrusted funeral attire, complete with a fishnet veil and signature red-bottom shoes. From there, the visuals whip through a dizzying montage of sex and glamour that includes her locking lips and making out with several other scantily clad women.

At one moment, Cardi’s ghost-riding as the blinged-out trophy on the hood of a Bentley. In another scene, she’s whipping out a vibrator in a pearly, all-girl ménage à trois inside the mouth of an oyster. In Cardi’s quintessentially provocative fashion, there are also some truly mind-boggling WTF moments, too like when Barbie doll heads begin singing from inside her hair.

In the video Cardi also pays sexy homage to the style icons who came before her, from Marilyn Monroe to Madonna. Early in the clip, the 28 year-old rapper poses on the hood of a luxury car, clad in a plunging white halter gown reminiscent of Monroe’s unforgettable subway-grate scene in The Seven Year Itch.

Later on, she shows off some killer choreography in a custom blue velour cone bra and matching lace-up hot pants by Rey Ortiz: a nod to the bust-accentuating Jean Paul Gaultier corset made famous by the Queen of Pop Madonna during her 1990 Blond Ambition tour. Cardi even goes full Birth of Venus in one scene, writhing around in a clamshell in a baroque porcelain corset, hip piece, leg pieces and stripper heels by Joyce Spakman.

But perhaps the most striking style tribute in Up comes toward the end of the video, when the Grammy winner honors late TLC rapper Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes, who died in a car accident in 2002, by donning a studded black leather bodysuit and fringe-trimmed arm warmers near-identical to Lopes’ look in 1999’s No Scrubs video.

Ahead of the video’s release, Cardi said in a YouTube livestream, that she hoped the song would sound more ‘hoo'” than previous releases. “I wanted to do something more gangsta, more cocky,” she said.
