The script really failed in the third act after the twist by slowing down to such a great extent instead of ratcheting up. Amanda (so beautiful even without her breasts) is great for the first two acts and then her character, and thus her performance, becomes boring. Sydney is fine but “Christy” is wholly better. So is “Eden.” And did she use a body double for a few topless shots in the sex scenes btw? I’ll have to rewatch.
Interestingly, the film undercuts what initially appears to be a misandrist message by implying that the antagonist’s villainy has its origin in a woman.
