Sabrina Carpenter and Jenna Ortega are bringing the heat in the “Taste” music video, where they’re kissing and murdering each other left and right.

Sabrina Carpenter is straight-up savage in her new music video. The pop star just dropped her new album Short n’ Sweet, and along with it, a video for her latest single “Taste,” featuring Jenna Ortega as her co-star.

In the Dave Meyers-directed video, Carpenter and the “Beetlejuice 2” actress are constantly trying to take each other out and even share a steamy kiss. At the start, the “Nonsense” singer hits up a pink bed loaded with murder tools and grabs a knife to use as a mirror while she’s getting ready. She then storms into a mansion, trying to off the You actress, who she thinks is hooking up with her guy.

But it’s just a decoy, and Ortega pops up with a shotgun, blasting Carpenter over a balcony. The two go at it in the hospital, using voodoo dolls and even getting down in the shower. Later, while Ortega is kissing her “beloved boyfriend,” she realizes it’s actually Carpenter and attacks her with a chainsaw – only to find out she’s just killed her actual beau.

At the end of the video, the pair show up to his funeral in black funeral gear, giggling and sipping smoothies. The whole thing is full of campy horror references.

Carpenter and Ortega rock similar vampy black dresses and bouncy hairstyles, just like Goldie Hawn and Meryl Streep in “Death Becomes Her”. The “Wednesday” star sports a nurse costume like Daryl Hannah’s in “Kill Bill”, while Carpenter gets impaled by a fence like in “Ginger Snaps”. There’s also a creepy shower scene that’s straight out of the 1960 classic “Psycho”.
